My month has been full of travel, from meeting cousins to flying kites to chilling at the beach. It ended with a bang, sending me to a concert with my dearest friends. Tall speakers, large screens, huge crowds - but somehow a relaxed atmosphere.
It was exciting to attend it with the friends who I have learned the most about music from. They are the people with whom I have explored, learned about, and grown my taste in music. The beats they share with me fuel the creative inspiration to create these very poems that I send you every week. I love these guys!
So that’s what today’s poem is about.
Alright, poem starts in 3… 2… 1!
Music that feels like a happy treat, We celebrate and tap our feet. 🕺🕺 Friends all around, with smiles so sweet. We laugh, we dance, and then we repeat! 😃😃 The rhythm is lively, with a thumping beat, Worries disappear and life is neat. 🎈🎈 We party in the house, on the grounds and the street Good friends and good music, let's turn up the heat! ✨✨ So let's lift a glass, to this joy we've found, A time to cherish, together we're bound. 🍾🍾
That’s it! Thanks for reading edition 96 of Hello Universe! Check out Some Fun Stuff below.
Some Fun Stuff
This is where I share something cool to read, something cool to listen to, and something cool to watch! Click on the underlined words to visit the links.
1. Read about the history of physics and mathematics on Privatdozent: I have written about this treasure trove of information on an earlier Hello Universe edition, and now I’m featuring it again. That’s because, good news - this Substack that features some of the most iconic stories of the development of the foundations of modern science is now free! That’s right, you can now read iconic stories of John Von Neumann, Albert Einstein and Leo Szilard as they invented new rules for the modern age. Check it out!
2. Listen to “50’s Japan” by Jesse James: I swear he’s playing those drums right next to the microphone. This beat is out of control!
3. Watch this deep dive into the realities of Uber’s business: Modern MBA is a channel quite similar to my earlier recommended “How Money Works”. That’s because the host works with basic business concepts and unveils the hidden reality behind the businesses he covers. I wish I had professors like him back when I studied my MBA. Highly recommended!
That’s it for this week. See you next Tuesday!
Looks like a fun time! And your mention of a beach makes me jealous... Our beaches lie dormant under a few feet of ice and snow. Somewhere warm would be nice right about now.

I'm really digging this track. The drums are definitely right at the front!
