Today’s poem is a very special one. It is an outcome of a weekend spent with close family, celebrating my favorite festival of the year - Uttarayan (Read about it here).

I'm out to fly
so very high
like a kite up in the sky

I'll see the world
from way up there
as I'll be floating by.

A thread goes through
from me to you
and holds me up in flight

The stratosphere
will hug me tight
and make me feel alright
😀

I see from here
a hemisphere
That's filled with love and fun
🥰

It looks like there's
an atmosphere
of joy below the Sun.
🌞

It feels like I could 
go up there
to the moon or even Mars.
🌝

Come with me now
let's fly away
to worlds beyond the stars.
