Over the course of the last week, I
Recovered from my second bout of COVID.
Emptied my house of 3 years on my way to a new city.
And finally, attended my best friend’s wedding!
Today’s poem is about that last experience.
An experience where I met some of the nicest, happiest people ever!
Both the groom and bride are my closest friends in the world. So close in fact, that I designed their wedding card!
In this wedding, I had a chance to become a part of their lovely families, to catch up with old friends, and make lots of new ones.
The parties went on till the wee hours of the morning, and the stories and jokes flowed endlessly. We danced our hearts out and had a gala time. Everyone forgot their stress and enjoyed the weekend with huge smiles on their faces.
Happy people are my favorite kind of people.
Alright, poem starts in 3… 2… 1!
Happy places happy spaces.
Happy hearts and happy faces.
Happy seconds, happy minutes.
Happiness without a limit.
Happy beings, and happy feelings.
Everything with happy meanings.
Happy days and happy nights,
with bright and shiny happy lights.
When you go through some upheaval,
when life sounds like an empty lull,
when things start to feel very dull,
find yourself some happy people!
😀😃💃🕺👯♂️
That’s it!

Some fun stuff:
This is a place where I share something cool every week.
Regular readers of Hello Universe know my love for Tintin. Well, my friends asked me to design their wedding invite in the same style, and it was an opportunity I couldn’t say no to! Over the course of a week, I designed for them a card that perfectly captures their love of the mountains, and brought to life the adventure they were setting out on.
So, without further ado, here’s the card:
That’s it for this week. Thanks for reading Hello Universe. See you next Tuesday!
First of all, I love the poem. It's so... well... happy. Great writing, as always. It somehow reminded me a bit of those two songs by Monty Python:

The card is indeed great. You really captured your friends, but very very much captured that adventure spirit of Tintin. It looks very much like a new book. Makes me want to dig out my collection and reread them all. Always was a big Tintin fan. Even made my dad go with me to the Tintin museum in Belgium when I was a kid.
That card looks fantastic! Getting something personalized like that is so much more powerful than a generic invitation. And thank goodness you were feeling better in order to attend the wedding!
