Brilliant, Punit. I love the poem, but maybe even more the story of discovery. Of taking that time to make a small detour and finding inspiration and joy there. You set a great example, and write a lovely poem to inspire others to do the same.
Thanks for sharing your discovery with us! How often do we take the easier route and miss out on something wonderful? Also, what we thought was going to be the more difficult route ends up being easier than we thought!
Lovely to see you back on Hello Universe, Holly. You always bring the most positive point of view to the comments. Here's a mini poem that comes from your comment:
That's a beautiful commute! I often take a riverside bike path to drop my daughter off at school. Looking at any body of water in the morning is fantastic.
What a great video you shared, too!
Thanks Mark, it is the highlight of the day for me if the "Some Fun Stuff" recommendations are noticed. You're the best!

Your encouragement means the world, Arjan!

I skipped a path that seemed too long,
I let it be, but that felt wrong.
So now I walk it often, yes,
it feels so good, it is the best!

Chris! What a lovely experience that must be. Going to school along the riverside - it will be a beautiful memory for your daughter once she grows up.
Here's a tiny poem for her:
----
Upon a tiny bicycle,
I go to school each day.
Dad tells lovely stories
as we pedal on our way.
I'm tiny now, but when I grow,
I'll often think of this.
This time spent by the riverside,
is fun, is love, is bliss!
Such a lovely poem, you're the best Punit. Thank you very much!
This poem was definitely worth the 5 extra minutes of commute! Beautiful!
Thank you Ariana! I didn't think much of this poem when I wrote it, but it feels more and more beautiful each time I read it. 😇
Vah, kya baat hai
Thank you 🤗
