Another Weekend With Friends
The best feeling in the world
So imagine my joy when two of those friends landed in my new city over this weekend! It was magic!
We had a lot of fun together and spent quality time having deep conversations, listening to great tracks, and playing board games. Lots of board games.
So that’s what today’s poem is about.
Alright, poem starts in 3… 2… 1!
Music fine with tunes so rare. No debt is ever due. Conversations filled with care. That help you think things through. Tasty bites and fancy flights. The world is at your feet. The board games you play late at night, each moment is a treat. The world is full of meaning and the joy just never ends. Nothing beats the feeling of a weekend spent with friends. 😀😁😆😎 Out you go for pretty walks. You stop for pretty views. The time runs slowly on your clocks. You soon forget the blues. The sky is filled with fluffy clouds. No tasks are to be done. Laughter echoes in the house those board games are such fun! The world is full of meaning and the joy just never ends. Nothing beats the feeling of a weekend spent with friends. 😀😁😆😎
That’s it! Thanks for reading edition no. 122 of Hello Universe. I had published this poem back in November 2022 when I had spent a fun weekend with these friends in my previous city, and I felt like resharing it now that I met them in my new city. It was a delight.

This is where I share something cool to read, something cool to listen to, and something cool to watch! The underlined words are links that you can click to visit the recommended content.
1. Check out Mount Everest in 3D: Mount Everest is such a fascinating place. It has fascinated humanity for centuries and has been the pinnacle of human conquest, second only to the moon landing. This 3D view of the mountain allows you the pleasure of experiencing the grooves and cuts of this goliath on your device, and gape at the sheer challenge of climbing a place that looks like this:
An interactive way to visualize a massive mountain, lots of fun, check it out!
2. Listen to “This Way” by Mr. Scruff : A delightful melody that will have you going on many journeys inside your head. Foot tapping and emotionally stimulating, Mr. Scruff never fails to impress.
3. Watch this exploration of the tallest residential buildings in NYC : This video is a deep dive into the factors that led to super tall and thin buildings like 432 Park Avenue and The Central Park Tower on the West 57th Street (a street referred to as the “Billionaires’ Row”) in New York City. Narrated by an architect, it is a great look at how regulation, technology, and views guide the development of places like the Billionaires’ Row.
That’s it for this week, see you next Tuesday!
