Congrats on an amazing two years Punit! I was pleasantly surprised to see you featured by the Substack team. Much deserved! The new audience will not be disappointed. Looking forward to more great poems in year number three!
Thanks so much Chris, I'm delighted to hear from you. I consider you my Substack twin because both of us have the same start date for our Substacks. Congratulations to you too for completing 104 weeks of writing continuously. In fact, you take it even further with your Saturday posts!
Substack makes me feel like a global citizen, giving me opportunities to connect with like-minded people like you from across the globe.
Well I turned 50 not that long ago and I am feeling for the first time in a very long time like I am beginning to know and grow into who I want to be. I feel free I feel like I can breathe I feel supported and feel grateful. For your 31st year I am wishing that you have the best possible year. Thank you for your beautiful poems and insights. Many blessings
Welcome to Hello Universe! It's so refreshing and encouraging to see that self discovery is not about what age one is, but more about what mindset one possesses. Thank you so much for candidly sharing your feelings, and for your best wishes!
Thank you so much Igor, I'm happy to hear from you. We met when I was just about to finish a year of writing Hello Universe, and how far have both of us come since then! I feel like I've been unconsciously following in your footsteps - moving to a new city, starting a second newsletter. You are a true inspiration and I'm grateful that I can call you a friend!
I feel proud of myself 😌✨
Welcome to Hello Universe, Candy! Happy to see that you are also a fellow poet.
Here's a short rhyme for you:
.
.
A force of nature, and of fun,
she's out to win the world.
Her confidence is out to play
in her magical words!
😀
Oh wow! 🫶🏽 This is so wonderful! Thank you so much for such a beautiful rhyme. ☺️
Congrats on completing year 2! Here's to many more, my friend!
Many more, so many more,
1 and 2 and 3 and 4.
.
5 and 6 and 7 and 8,
bring it on, I cannot wait!
😀😀
Well, if I didn't know what I needed to brighten this damp, grey Tuesday afternoon, I certainly do now, Punit - it's reading THIS!
Great post, a great milestone and always a great read! Congratulations on literally EVERYTHING! 🥳

Here's a little gift for you:
.
.
On damp, grey Tuesday afternoons
I count down every hour.
A friend's letter arrives by mail
shining like a star.
It brightens up my day, you know,
it lights my face in joy.
I like it when he writes to me,
this lost and silly boy.
😀
Oh, how absolutely lovely! Thank you such a lot, Punit! 😊
I feel at home with myself 🍃
Welcome to Hello Universe Sara! Loved your Substack and subbed immediately.
Here's a mini poem for you:
.
.
I tried to find a home for me
in books and films and art.
But time went by and showed me that
my home was in my heart.
Thanks for subbing! Yes - and my heart holds lots of room for books and films and art!
Look at us, birds of a feather! Books and films and art all the way 😀
Congrats on two great years! And very cool about the Substack recommend... That's an amazing boost!
Thanks Graham, now I'm just about inching up on 3 years! 4 more weeks to go. 🌞

A place with pleasing vibes.

Here's a mini poem about it:

From folks who write about new tech,
to those who catalogue bands.
This simple boy from a simple place
is making brand new friends!
😀

Here's a small rhyme for you 😀
.
.
Throughout my life, I've found myself
on a quest to find myself.
And I've found out
that the answer lies
in the journey itself.
.
It's when I sit and breathe and think
about who I shall be.
It's then that the
fog clears up,
and I end up finding me!
Thank you. The rhyme is perfect. Many blessings
Wow. Massive growth, congrats!
