Thanks to the Internet, I can keep up with friends. I just wrote in barbaracharis.substack.com. about a friendship which has lasted 84 years...with my best 'buddy' who I met at six years old in 1940. I called him this week to see how he is doing; and was so happy to know that he was well and sounded great. My friends are scattered all over the world...and I keep in touch with them; for once a friend is always a friend!
