Very true, while silence is golden, sometimes the power of words is important.

As I read you saying this, I am reminded of the power of your words as "Vesemir".

I love this poem - its complex form has made me read it in a very... how can I put this? ...conscious, thoughtful way. It'll stay with me. You have such a gift for words, Punit. Wonderful work!

Punit!!! What an honor! Thank you for such a heartfelt shoutout 🥹😭🥰 Will absolutely be noodling on the balance of being outspoken while also choosing silence when appropriate (and powerful!). I loved the form of this week’s poem. I’m so glad you shared your inspiration! We can learn so much from the greats. Thanks for inspiring me as a Great in your own right ❤️

Thank you so much for your kind praise Ariana. I'm so happy that my writing helps my readers stop and think a little. I feel grateful that my words can have a small ripple of influence on someone sitting thousands of miles away 🤗

And congrats again on 100! Cheers to at least 100 more 🥂

Love this. I remember doing this as an exercise in school and it always helped get the juices flowing. And the message rings true <3

Exactly! Spot on! I think I really found my voice and need to "help the world" when my son was born at 39 yrs. I think I suddenly felt so invested in the future for all children. It's absolutely fine not to have children but personally I grew much from the experience. I am sure there are other ways to feel the expanse. I firmly believe if you care for anything you need to take a stance. It can be a gentle and kind and still very powerful! More so. As far as I know, we only go around once to make a difference.

Such powerful words Heide, and I love how coming face to face with the next generation helped you see the world in such a different way!

That's probably why community is so important but in a fast paced world where people move often and sometimes far away...the connection is lost. Some things take time...building takes time.
