Good news!
The final steps of my transition to a new city are now complete. I am officially here!
It’s been a crazy rollercoaster full of twists and turns. You, dear reader, have been an AMAZING companion through this journey; as I documented my experiences over the past 2 months.
I feel like a new man, and I am ready for all that’s ahead of me!
Back in July, when this new reality of my life was taking shape, I wrote a poem to articulate my feelings. As much as it was an expression of my thoughts, it was also a way to keep myself motivated. It was a way to remind me that I was going through this disruptive life event for a better future.
Today, I’m sharing that poem with you. If you like it, please bookmark it to read during any disruptive times in your life!
This poem also marks the completion of what I call the “Journaling” chapter of Hello Universe - I have been relying a lot on this newsletter as an outlet to express my anxieties during this transitionary period in life. I describe Hello Universe as a place where I write fun and thought-provoking poems. Next week onwards, I aim to get back to the fun side of things!
I hope you enjoyed this Journaling chapter. I know I did. 😀😀
Alright, poem starts in 3… 2… 1!
I wonder about my future,
I wonder about my past.
I wonder about the mold,
in which I'll be cast.
I wonder about my journey,
the people I'll meet.
And sometimes I wonder,
what'll be my new work seat!
I wonder on and on again,
and that's how time flies.
But one thing's for certain -
that surely, I'll rise.
That’s it!

Some fun stuff:
This is a place where I share something cool to read, something cool to listen to, and something cool to watch! The underlined words are links that you can click to visit the recommended content.
1. Check out “Paint With Music” by Google: Let your imagination take flight with this cute little app by Google. Follow this simple 3 step process to maximize your enjoyment:
Step 1: Select an instrument
Step 2: Scribble and doodle to your heart’s content
Step 3: Listen as a magical medley unfolds.
My friends and I whiled away a weekend afternoon playing with this, and it brought a smile on all our faces. Check it out!
2. Listen to “Knee Deep” by TM Juke: Rhythmic, mellow, and mellifluous. The perfect companion to that morning when you’re debating if you should wake up, or just lay down.
3. Watch “If Red Hot Chili Peppers were from India”: You know how much I love RHCP. You know I’m from India. So you know this video is tailor-made for me. I think you will like it too, because there is way too much talent at display here. WATCH NOW!
That’s it for this edition.
75 Weeks! I’m so grateful to have you as a reader of Hello Universe. Onwards to many more!
See you next week.
I Wonder...
Congrats on the milestones of settling in a new place and showing up here for 75 weeks. I liked the journaling phase, because it created a (deeper) sense of connection with you. Also, to see how you took your way of writing to talk about it. Well done, and yes, I like it. Not that I'm not looking forward to the fun part, though.
