Hello, Punit! I'm one who found you through the Substack feature and I've enjoyed reading your work regularly ever since. Your poetry is part of my intentional (admittedly, sometimes forced) habit of reading poetry regularly, something I've tried to do since an undergrad art professor told the class, "to make good art, you must read good poetry." Your poems make me think; I especially enjoy when you ask a question that prompts me to engage. I'd be interested in you sharing some poetry that's been inspiring you in your Some Fun Stuff section!
Woohoo! Thanks for being here for almost a year. I am super humbled to see your thoughts on my poetry. I've always described my poems as "fun and thought-provoking" so to see you feel inspired to think because of them is the highlight of my day.
Great suggestions on the questions I ask that prompt you to engage, and the suggestion to include poetry I like in Some Fun Stuff. Watch out for next week's edition 😀
Hey Punit, you know I wouldn't want to change a thing about hello universe, simply because of selfish reasons. What I do suggest for future telescope though, is that you take it beyond words and links and pictures...and please make a video log of it. I know it's...not ideal. But your ideas need to reach a lot more people, and I feel there's no harm in adding a medium to let you do that. Please make videos based on AI and other technologies of the future, including the cool websites you come across. That's it from my side :)
I love your nursery rhyme style! It's nostalgic and poignant. I say carry on however feels most joyful and/or fulfilling to you and us readers will be along for the ride :)
Jenny! Thank you so much. I love writing in this style because I find that a consistent meter and rhyming scheme make words memorable and impactful. I am filled with joy to see your encouragement, you're the best!
152 weeks!!! So impressive! Personally, I’d love to learn more about your writing process. Maybe you could even include poetry prompts to get readers writing too!
Thank you Ariana! 4 more weeks to go and Hello Universe will be 3 years old 🥲
I had no idea anyone would ever want to get to know about my writing process. This was a great idea, and you should watch out for next week's poem for more on this. And I think poetry prompts are just an outstanding idea! I am super excited to incorporate that into my writing. Thank you again, you are amazing!

P.S. - how's your health these days?
Such a great post, Punit!
Thanks Rebecca! 🤗
How would you want me to experiment with Hello Universe in the coming weeks?
Well, I love everything you publish, Punit - I know this is a lame answer, but follow your heart!!! ❤️
