I was back in the comments reading what Mom used to write me, and I spotted your lovely comment, Rebecca. So sorry I missed your kind words and wishes. I'm glad that my writing touched you in a meaningful way. I feel such a debt of gratitude to my mother that she encouraged me to write ever since childhood and now here I am spreading joy through my words. You're on a roll for sure! You have also inspired me to give poetry writing a go. I wrote a bunch of poems in college and to this day I regret having lost them in one of my many moving adventures. Or perhaps they are still hidden somewhere in our boxes out at our barn (though I have looked). Four years looks good on you, let there be man many more! Happy Birthday my friend!
