A friend once showed me this Ted talk:
As the title suggests, the argument put forth by Barry Schwartz, the speaker, is that while choice inherently represents freedom, it ends up creating paralysis. Through sensible examples, he presents a clear point of view that ends up being a compelling argument - that the more choice you have, the less you know what you want.
It got me thinking about the things that I want, and became the basis of today’s fun poem. If it got you thinking too, do share your thoughts in the comments! 😀
Alright, poem starts in 3… 2… 1!
I want to be productive,
and I want to have some fun!
I want to make a lot of stuff!
I want to get things done!
I want to do some exercise!
I want to run and hike!
I want to visit fancy places
on a motorbike!
I want all this, I want all that,
I want to be the best -
at each and every chore and task,
at each and every quest!
I want so many things for me,
to learn and love and flaunt.
I want so many things that
.
.
.
I have no clue what I want.
That’s it! This was edition no. 77 of Hello Universe.

Some fun stuff:
This is a place where I share something cool to read, something cool to listen to, and something cool to watch! The underlined words are links that you can click to visit the recommended content.
1. Check out Motionity: Ever wanted a simple and free app to add some cool motion graphics to your videos? I got you covered with Motionity, a free and open source animation editor that works on your browser. It is simple to use, and has a powerful suite of features that just isn’t available for free anywhere else. Try it out now!
2. Listen to Leaf Encoder by Okami: If you read Hello Universe often, you know how partial I am towards tracks that have sparkly, shiny tunes. This is one of those. Super groovy, super fun. Check it out!
3. Watch this cool documentary about SpaceX in Texas: A lot of people decided to uproot their lives and move near the SpaceX Starbase campus in Boca Chica, Texas. Some did it to watch the future of humanity take shape in front of their eyes, while some did it to get the $$$ of Youtube views. This beautifully shot documentary is a look at that world. It is also the first video released as a part of the redesign of TheVerge.com - my favorite tech and culture website.
That’s it for this week, see you next Tuesday!
