Today’s poem is about a state of mind I’ve inhabited for the last month or so. If you’re waiting for something important to happen as well, then this poem is for you!

I'm waiting, waiting -
something is about to happen soon.
I've waited through the mornings
and I've waited with the moon. 
⏳⌛️

I'm waiting for the moment
when the world will get to view it. 
I'm waiting for the magic
that I'll feel when I go through it.
🪄✨

It has to happen well!
Yes, in my mind I know for sure!
But time is passing slowly!
OK... sigh... I'll wait some more...

Read “Why Middleman Don’t Get Eliminated by Byrne Hobart on Capital Gains: An early promise of the internet and that of many startups that have since been founded on it has been an elimination of middlemen from shopping and other transactions. However, reality has panned out differently, with middlemen like Amazon and Google having captured tremendous value from the internet and becoming gatekeepers of information. 2. Listen to The Ecstasy of Gold by Ennio Morricone: What can I say about this masterpiece that hasn’t been said before. A highlight of the soundtrack of the iconic film “The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly”, this track is one that gives me goosebumps each time I listen to it. Listen to it now, and if possible, go back and watch the iconic film it belongs to, I promise you it’s worth your time!

3. Watch the teaser for Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning: As I’ve grown older and my skin has gotten thicker, most film trailers have failed to make me go “oooh” and “aaah” like a fanboy. But the Mission Impossible series has always been one right after my heart, and this final entry in the series seems poised to be one for the fans. When it comes in May 2025, it will be right on time for my birthday, and I can’t wait to go to the cinema and watch in awe as Tom Cruise flings himself from one action scene to another in this epic finale. It’s the perfect teaser trailer, especially the last line of dialogue, check it out!
