Uncharted Territory
Hello Universe 275
Dearest Reader,
Sometimes I start writing to you, and have to work really hard to pull out of me a poem that resonates. Sometimes I give up and can’t summon the energy to write something, so I think of a poem that I have written in the past that most feels like my life on that day. And then I reshare that poem from the past. That’s an advantage of having written for so many weeks (275 today!), that on repeating some of my poems I still get a chance to show up, remind you of something cool I wrote before, and continue meeting you each Tuesday.
But then there are times when the words cannot be stopped and I must write. A poem flows out that must be shared. Today is one of those times.
Alright, poem starts in 3… 2… 1!
Standing by the path he said, "I wanted to be here, I wanted all this that I see, up close and really near. I wanted all this energy, I wanted all this risk. I wanted to be able to do all these promising tricks. I wanted to be at this point, where anything can happen, that's why I rode it all this way- my tiny rickety wagon. And now that I stand by this path, now that I have to walk it. Now that I have to find my way to get along across it. I know not how to take a step I know not how to start. For I have got no instructions, no card, no map, no chart. No way to tell how to be right, for all I'll try is new. And everything that's to be done, is mine to pick and do. But then there are the things to not just do without a thought. Alleys full of danger and wild beasts I've never fought. How will I ever find my way? How will I even survive? How will I eat, how will I sleep? How will I live my life?" And suddenly, the path then spoke, "I'm strange, I am unmapped. Your eyes have never come this way, I'm where you've never stepped. Am I a mystery to you? Am I a path of wonder? On me how many goals'll you hit? And cause how many blunders? No answer can be known my friend, for this, there is no app. But you have brought your own self here, so find out, take your first step." Who is the path? Who is the walker? They are but one to us, inside this world I've brought to life, out of a strange impulse. They are to us a simple poem, one written by some guy. Remember this, and now just try to zoom out with your mind's eye. And see yourself, and all your paths, as part of something bigger, something that's like this poem but it wears your own life's sticker. And if you are your own life, then you also are each path. The map is you, the walking- you, you are the end, the start. You are each of your loving acts, you're also all your sins. The mysteries you set out to solve, all need you to look in. Look in, and even with no map, you'll know what you must do. Look in, look out, and finally, accept it all as you.
That’s it! Thanks for reading edition no. 275 of Hello Universe!
I’m curious to know - have you ever reached the beginning of a new journey in your life and realized that you had planned everything until this point but now have no idea what to do next? How did you handle yourself? What did you learn?

On the way out, here’s a nice new video about the Tintin books that I a such a fan of. If you are too, then you’ll enjoy this one!
That’s all for this week, see you next Tuesday!

Uncharted Territory...I trusted in the Creator's guidance to take me where i should go. I always believed I was not alone from the time I was 4 and my grandmother told me that God loved me. I was happy to know... I was loved. I used the word god, until I was 46...when I met a very spiritual and healthy man who told me not to say god...He said the right name is Creator. He said that mankind has worshipped 5000 gods, but there is only ONE Creator. It took awhile to stop saying god, but It did make sense. I felt the Energy of the Presence, since childhood...and tried to do as the Creator wanted me to do. i definitely knew the difference between right and wrong...and had 'gut feelings' that kept me on the straight and narrow path. The Creator was always in my life. I really never looked ahead...but trusted that I would live up to my highest potential. When I left my marriage, after 21 years, I went to a psychic minister and his words let me know that I was doing the right thing. He said that I had almost waited, too long. I knew that there was something that i had to do in my life that would be important. I had been studying health and nutrition at that point for 16 years...and three years later, I finished a 300 page manuscript entitled How to Raise an Organic Baby: A Mother's 22 years of Experience Raising 4 Children. A publisher was interested, but the AMA stopped it. I decided to keep on learning.. opened a holistic center and did nutritional consultations for 30 years. I did many lectures, did a series of radio shows and a series of 15 TV cable shows promoting a book I wrote in 1995. For 65 years now I have been into health research...and at 92, I am healthier mentally and physically than I was in my thirties, when I was fat and lethargic. Today, my weight is perfect and I have energy...I do a 90 minute walk daily covering 4-1/2 miles. I follow Hippocrates, the Father of medicine (2400 BC) who was known for HIS CURES. He prescribed natural (unprocessed)food, exercise, sunshine, fresh air, change of venue and a healthy lifestyle. He would never have prescribed drugs or vaccines.. Life is about learning and sharing information .
