It feels like every few months I have to relearn time management. Every time I put a system in place, somehow, in some way, life catches up and stops that system from working. I am going through that rewiring right now, as all my previous systems have failed and I am left gasping for air at the end of each day, not knowing how all that time slipped by.
Today’s poem was written at a point in my life 4 years ago when I felt something similar. So I am revisiting it, hoping that it gives me the dose of perseverance needed at this hour.
Alright, poem starts in 3… 2… 1!

I have found early morning meeting up and walking with friends is best for me. As the day goes on, it seems more responsibilities and excuses keep me from connecting with friends and moving. For personal creative time, I love to be alone. I don't know why but when the house is empty I feel a sense of freedom. Therefore whenever my husband plays tennis or goes out, I grab some time to paint, blog, collage or look at art stuff. I used to think I needed hours to accomplish this but really even 30 minutes can rejuvenate me. Good luck and keep up the good work and positivity!
