Today’s poem is dedicated to my mother, who would have turned 63 today. Miss you, Mom.
Alright, poem starts in 3… 2… 1!
I wonder how it must have been, when you came to this planet green. With all your life in front of you, and every feeling was brand new. Those first breaths as you cried and cooed, your mother's whispers kept you cool. Your father holding you up high, seeing his universe in your eyes. So swift as wind, your childhood flew, through struggles hard and feelings new. But always with a smile on face, you grew up then with pride and grace. Through sunny days and starry nights, and happy funny pillow fights, you raised your siblings, studied hard, and dealt with all of your life's cards. Just like you raised us children too, from you we found life's every clue. You and Dad, you taught us right. making sure that we take flight. Each life you touched, each soul you saw, was through your grace just filled with awe. You made each day a memory, you showed us what and how to be. For sixty two full years you lived, your destiny was thus fulfilled. You know it's right, you know it's true, you changed the world by being you.
That’s it. Thanks for reading edition 281 of Hello Universe.
That’s all for this week, see you next Tuesday!

Its wonderful you had a mother who loved you... that you loved. You were very blessed. So many have problems in their relationships with parents. I loved my mother, but I didn't feel she loved me. She never hugged me or told me that she loved me. She was kind of a school teacher type and when I was older we communicated better. She promoted education, education, education...and it was her life. She was a teacher for over 50 years
