The Sun Is Out!
Hello Universe 262
I come from a part of the world where summers reach 50° C. So the summer months were actually not so fun growing up. Now I live in a place where the winters go to -10°C. So summer is actually fun now and it is great to sit in the Sun and eat up its yummy rays.
Today’s poem is about that feeling.
Alright, poem starts in 3… 2… 1!
Sit next to the bridge or go sit on a cloud, the Sun is out, the Sun is out! Make all the hay you can as it shines about, the Sun is out, the Sun is out! It's yellow and warm and it's made of pure joy, it's charging me up like a battery toy. Right above the horizon when you look south, the Sun is out, the Sun is out! The world is out strolling and making new plans, they're out in their groups and they're out in their clans. They're all having so much fun, have no doubt, the Sun is out, the Sun is out! Throw out all the worries, throw out all the pains, go fill up the streets and go fill up the lanes. Hear all the birds cooing and cawing so loud, the Sun is out, the Sun is out!
That’s it! Thanks for reading edition 262 of Hello Universe.
Here’s some new Blockhead music for you on the way out.
That’s it for this week, see you next Tuesday!
