Dear Reader,
I write to you today with a poem full of affirmation and motivation. I hope it brings you good vibes and good times.
Alright, poem starts in 3… 2… 1!
Even if they do not fancy how you say a word. Even if you haven't been around to see the world. 🌍🌎🌏 Even if they do not like that gap between your teeth. Even if you are obsessed with stuff that's quite off-beat. 🎶📽🎮 Even if you struggle with some moves you've not yet learned, Even if the thoughts you have, have not yet been affirmed. 👍👍👍 What matters most is if to your own self you are being true. Love yourself the most my friend, 'cause you're the only you. 🏆🏆🏆
That’s it! This was edition no. 78 of Hello Universe.
Check out Some fun stuff below.
Some fun stuff:
This is a place where I share something cool to read, something cool to listen to, and something cool to watch! The underlined words are links that you can click to visit the recommended content.
1. Check out Slit Decision : Ever been paralyzed by the uncertainty of an outcome? Been confused between making two choices? Been afraid of being responsible what comes next? Fear not, dear friend, just go to Slit Decision! Enter two choices in the given fields on the site. Click on 'Choose', and be prepared to execute the choice that is made for you. It’s just that simple!
On a more serious note, this website has a fascinating process. Here is the description on the website:
The choice given to you is made based on a Quantum Random Number Generator, obtained from quantumnumbers.anu.edu.au. According to the Many Worlds Interpretation, each possible quantum outcome happens in some universe. Therefore, both options will be given to "you". When you see the choice made above, the "you" in another universe will have gotten a different result.
If you let your actions depend on the result given above, then, that means that there is another universe in which you will take the other option.
No way can you let a website make a decision for you, can you?
Could you?
2. Listen to “See You Leave (Instrumental)” by RJD2: Sing this ballad to the choice you discarded from the above experiment. Groove to its mellifluous instruments as you think about what you could have done and what could have been. If you want the lyrical version where the language gets a bit explicit, check it out below!
I do this rarely on Hello Universe, where all three “fun stuff” suggestions are linked by a common thread. The common thread to today’s suggestions is this video, where the protagonist struggles to make a decision, and goes on a crazy adventure trying to figure it out. If you like good storytelling full of protagonists dealing with hard choices, packed in a shiny bow of philosophical scifi reminiscent of Philip K Dick’s writing, then this story is for you. I think you’ll like it a lot.
That’s it. See you next Tuesday.
Beautiful my friend. I think people don't get enough affirmations, and this one is very well written.
It also made me think of this song: https://songwhip.com/chesney-hawkes/the-one-and-only
