The Golden Ticket
Today’s poem is for those who need a reminder, that life is AWESOME!
Poem starts in 3… 2… 1!
"A Golden Ticket!" says the girl,
"A ticket to your dreams!
A ticket made of real gold!
A ticket that just gleams!
✨🌟
A ticket that will let you win,
the things that matter most.
A ticket that lets you begin,
new journeys to new coasts."
🏝️🏖️
I wonder, wish and whisper, "Well,
I'd like to get one too!
Pray, answer me, why don't you tell,
just share a simple clue!"
🙏🙏
And then she says a simple chant,
"The answer to your strife,
The Golden Ticket that you want,
is your amazing life!
😀😀
You ask for more to come your way,
but you don't realize,
That living fully everyday
is your life's greatest prize!
🏆🥇
So grab it now, with both your hands,
for every month and year.
It's yours to live and love, my friend,
The Golden Ticket's here!"
🎈🎊🎉
That’s it!

Play the Countries of the world quiz : Of the 197 countries in the world, how many can you name in 15 minutes (without cheating 🤭)? My first attempt was at 108 countries, and then I eventually became so obsessed by it that by the 4th day of attempts, I was at 192. This is a great quiz. PLAY IT!
Listen to “Yeh tumhari meri baatein”: “ROCK ON!” is a 2008 Hindi film, and it was the perfect mix of rebellion, friendships, and incredible music that ended up defining my late teens. I have surely watched this film tens of times, and listened to its songs hundreds of times. I ran into this beaaauuutiful melodic song from the film today - it made my day, and made me feel like a gushing 16 year old, hanging out with my buddies, having endless conversations. Please check it out. SOOTHING!
Watch this video essay by a Chinese person on his first impression of Indian Cinema: Watching this helped me respect and see from a fresh perspective, the cinema that I have grown up with. If you like movies, you must watch this. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
I would love it if you also shared some fun stuff that you love to read/ listen to/ watch across the internet, down in the comments.
See you next week!
