Today's poem is a marker in time of some happy memories.
Alright, poem starts in 3… 2… 1!
With a clickety-clack and a rattley-roll, our cart is a rocket, and off we stroll! The freshest of bread sits all puffy and proud, it's squishy and quishy and soft as a cloud! The milk in its bottle goes gluggity-glug, as white as the whites of a snowflaky hug! Potatoes are pebbles all bumpy and brown, the lettuce leaves whisper with swishity sound! The crackers all crunchy with tiny flat holes, the pasta so long like a telephone pole! With beepity-beep goes the check-outer's bell, our bags full of treasures all ready to tell! And bumpity-bump down the walkable path, with groceries giggling their grocery laugh! Our shopping is shopped and our listing is done, a cart full of supper and snackity fun!
That’s it! Thanks for reading edition 228 of Hello Universe.
