Shopping Away!
Hello Universe 270
My father’s visiting me, and we go shopping for groceries together almost every evening these days. So, today’s poem is a way to mark this time together!
Alright, poem starts in 3… 2… 1!
With a clickety-clack and a rattley-roll, our cart is a rocket, and off we stroll! The freshest of bread sits all puffy and proud, it's squishy and quishy and soft as a cloud! The milk in its bottle goes gluggity-glug, as white as the whites of a snowflaky hug! Potatoes are pebbles all bumpy and brown, the salad leaves crunch with crunchity sound! Pistachios, legumes, and bananas and cream, tasty food's really our only one dream! With beepity-beep goes the check-outer's bell, our bags full of treasures all ready to tell! And bumpity-bump down the walkable path, our hearts now just giggling the grocery laugh! Our shopping is shopped and our listing is done, a bag full of supper and snackity fun!
That’s it! Thanks for reading edition 270 of Hello Universe!
I’m happy to be spending time with my father these days. What makes you happy these days, dear reader? Leave a comment or shoot me a reply, share your happiness!
There’s a new Slow Mo Guys video, so I gotta share that on the way out.
That’s it for this week, see you next Tuesday!
