This is the first Hello Universe for 2025, Happy New Year dear reader!

As we step into this new year with its new possibilities, I’ve been thinking about the transformation of a caterpillar to a butterfly. About how that creature spends so much of its life in one form, only to weave itself into a cocoon and emerge in a completely different form some time later.

I hope that this year is the same for you, and you get to spread your wings like a glorious butterfly. And that’s what today’s poem is about!

Dream big! Dream bold!
Let life unfold,
like origami new.
Dance wild! Dance free!
Relax! Just be!
Let joy run wild and true.

Laugh loud! Laugh long!
Let life's sweet song
bring silver, morning-dew.
Each dawn that starts,
each beating heart,
each moment freshly brewed.

It's time to act,
time to trust that
bliss finds its way to you.
This brand new year...
Oh yes! It's here!
Unleash a brand new you!
