My sister inspires me everyday with her grit, persistence, and intelligence. I am proud to be her brother. I spent the last week hanging out with her, and am dedicating today’s post to her.

Alright, poem starts in 3… 2… 1!

Step by step
she makes her way
up to the top, up high.
Bit by bit,
she charts her path,
to where successes lie.

Slowly, surely,
on she goes.
The path is rough and wound.
She goes through roads
and rugged woods,
and thus her path is found.

The path is long.
The path is tough.
The path will drain her out.
But she will reach
right to the top
'cause that's what she's about.
