If you’re someone who works in India, you’re in luck! Tomorrow is most likely a day off for you!
It sure is for me. And I have been waiting for this day off for so long. It’s finally here!
So, today’s poem is about the dreams I’ve been dreaming for my day off tomorrow, and what will most likely transpire in reality.
Hope you enjoy it!
Alright, poem starts in 3… 2… 1!
"Nothing is better," he happily spoke,
"as lovely, as awesome, as totally dope,
as thoroughly thumping, as gloriously grand,
as thinking about all the things that I've planned!"
😀😀
"It gets me so jolly, it drives me so wild,
to think of my fabulous future!" he smiled.
"To picture the things I've been dreaming, come true!
To tick all the boxes on my list to-do!"
☑️✅☑️
"I just cannot wait, I can hardly stand by,
to wait for the future to come and say 'Hi!'
I want it to happen! I want it so bad!
It'll be the most happiness I've ever had!"
🥳🕺🎉
"I vow, and I swear, and I promise, proclaim,
I'll stick to my plans and my goals and my aim.
It will be exalting, it will be sublime!",
exclaimed he, impatiently biding his time.
⌛⌛⏳
And so it will happen, and so it will be,
the arrow of time will fly by speedily,
the future will come and go by in a flash.
And all of his plans will spectacularly crash.
😶😶😶
For when he makes all of these plans in his head,
there's one thing he doesn't account for - his bed!
In spite of his planning, so wide and so deep -
that time will be spent
.
.
catching up on some sleep.
That’s it!
