Over the past couple of years, many close friends have moved out of the country to newer destinations for their lives. Today’s poem is dedicated to those friends. 🤗
Alright, poem starts in 3… 2… 1!
So many friends are off to roam, to distant lands, to find new homes. Their laughter echoes as they go, and in my heart, their warmth still glows. And though they travel far from here, forevermore I'll hold them dear. On tiny screens, I'll keep them near, their lovely faces, crystal clear. We'll joke about our funny lives, how rain in England's no surprise, how bright is the SanFran sunrise, how Melbourne's a sight for sore eyes. It's strange to think, through oceans wide, our friendships flourish, grow, and thrive. From screen to screen, our worlds collide, through digital hugs, our hearts confide. We'll meet again, no question there, find happiness beyond compare. With comfort high in our shared air, laughter will be everywhere. I'll miss you lots, my friends so dear, as we grow older year by year. Our future's bright, so let us cheer, this friendship has no final frontier.

Some Fun Stuff
This is where I share something cool to read, something cool to listen to, and something cool to watch! The underlined words are links that you can click to visit the recommended content.
1. Check out Food Mood by Google AI: A fun website that gives you suggestions on fusion recipes mixing inspiration from two cultures. Worth checking out if you have been feeling some inspiration bankruptcy in the kitchen!
2. Listen to “Come Close To Me” by Romare: I first heard Romare in a live gig in Amsterdam, and since then I’ve been a big fan of his experimental psychedelic music. This track is a bit less psychedelic and bit more dance-y, and I highly recommend you to check it out!
3. Check out the new Map Men: Look, there are some creators who I feel extremely passionately about and I can’t stop recommending their content. Jay Foreman is one such creator, and I feel you should watch everything he makes. This video is an exploration of islands that were supposed to exist if you believed certain maps, but that did not exist in reality. A hilarious and insightful video, must watch!
That’s it for this week, see you next Tuesday!
Oh, this is lovely - and I'm still smiling at these lines, Punit:
"We'll joke about our funny lives,
how rain in England's no surprise"
Brilliant!
Heart touching ❤️
