In my childhood days, summer vacation from school was magical and each day brought new adventures, real and imagined. Time passed slowly.
At 80 years old, time seems to be zipping by with far fewer adventures, except for a good book and a mystery series on Netflix with the occasional visit from a friend.
I am currently reading a book my daughter brought back from a visit to Rhodes. My Mother's Day present was It's All Greek by Alexander Tulloch. It concerns borrowed words and their history.
One of my favorite books is To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.
