Today’s poem is one that I publish every time I get to spend time with my favorite person in the whole wide world - my niece!
While it’s been a few days since she visited, I am now in the right frame of mind to write about our time together. This time around we played a LOT of catch the ball with a ridiculously fun crazy ball, she helped me practice my German language, and we made games with AI! It was my brightest highlight of 2024 to get to meet her. My heart is full of joy and gratitude that this little girl is becoming a fully grown human being!
Alright, the poem starts in 3… 2… 1!
“Googoo gaga aww you're so sweet! Look at your tiny hands and feet! I'll smush your rosy chubby cheeks, and laugh with you in gentle shrieks! At noon we'll play a silly sport. At night we'll build a blanket fort. I'll lift you up and run around, and when you nap, I'll make no sound. I love you, love you, love you so!" You say it as you watch them grow. You know it's right, you know it's true. A child brings out the child in you.
That’s it. Thanks for reading edition 180 of Hello Universe!
See you next Tuesday.
Love this!
God bless you both
