Child in you
It feels wonderful when you get to be around people you love.
The days feel richer and more packed with excitement, the things you do become more meaningful, and the life you lead becomes full of purpose and happiness.
These days, I get to be around someone I love a lot - my adorable niece! We’re meeting after many years, and she’s grown up to be an amazing, intelligent, thoughtful, kind, and positive human being. She makes me really happy, and helps me forget all the stuff that gets me down.
Today’s poem is dedicated to her!
So without further ado, poem starts in 3… 2.. 1!
"Googoo gaga aww you're cho chweet,
Look at your tiny hands and feet!
I'll smush your rosy chubby cheeks,
And laugh with you in gentle shrieks.
😃😄
At noon we'll play a silly sport.
At night we'll build a blanket fort.
I'll lift you up and run around.
And when you sleep I'll make no sound.
😴😴
I love you, love you, love you so!"
You say it as you watch them grow.
You know it's right, you know it's true,
A child brings out the child in you.
🥰👶🥰
That’s it!

Some fun stuff:
This is a place where I’ll be sharing something cool to read, something cool to listen to, and something cool to watch! The underlined words are links that you can click to visit the recommended content.
Read Internal Tech Emails: High powered tech CEO’s write a lot of emails. High powered tech companies do a lot of litigation. This means that a lot of these high powered emails are in the public record for all of us to read and see the internal thought processes that led to a lot of iconic decisions. This Twitter account posts such emails from internal discussions at high powered companies like Microsoft, Apple, Facebook etc. and makes for a lot of entertaining reading.
Listen to music by Akalé Wubé: Nothing makes your weekday blues disappear faster than some bopping Ethiopian grooves, made in Paris. Really good music!
Watch Jungster by I n o: This guy made some music, took a camera, walked through the streets of his town, and then made a really fun, trippy music video out of it. You’ll probably want to watch it more than once.
I would love it if you also shared some fun stuff that you love to read/ listen to/ watch across the internet, down in the comments.
See you next week!
