Life is a crap shoot even when we try to be very involved in the decision making. Lol. We do the best we can and that's all we can do. Every turn and the people we meet can change us for the better or not. I think the important thing is to always nudge ourselves to be a bit brave and try new things. It's easy to stay comfortable but growing means taking chances! Try not to miss opportunities that might widen your horizon. Live brave.
Interesting - What do you really want? Life provides choices...and sometimes we don't know that the choices we make...will take us to a place, we never expected. When I went to college, I really didn't know what i wanted to do in the future. Well, I enrolled in Journalism and worked for a semester on the Collegian, the school newspaper. I was not thrilled with ...who, why, where. when and what! I changed my major to Creative writing. I remember the professor saying "Don't write anything, until you know everything about the subject." It took 42 years, before my first book was published.
I want my children to be with me., but I also know that their future is far away from me. To choose sending them away , was very difficult for me
