Happy new year! Today’s poem is a prayer for the future.
Alright, poem starts in 3… 2… 1!
It's here! The new year has arrived. Two thousand twenty four. Brand new adventures lie ahead, beyond its open doors. Goodbye and thanks for all you did, two thousand twenty three. I can't believe the tales and stories that you made me see! There's hope and cheer in hearts as we walk in to this new year. Three sixty six days lie ahead, where magic can appear. What will you chase, what will you do? Whatever it is, I cheer for you! There's joyful stories coming through, this year, let all your dreams come true!
That’s it! Thank you for being the best part of my 2023.
What was the best part of 2023 for you? What you looking forward to in 2024? Tell me in the comments, and I’ll leave you a mini poem mantra for the rest of the year!

1. Read Wait But Why on AI: This post from 9 years ago and its underlying ideas formed the most of my early understanding on AI. Great way to start what is most definitely going to be the year that AI takes things up a notch.
2. Listen to 2024 by Angshuman Kar: Angshuman is my music shaman. I welcomed the new year to this playlist. Great music, superb vibes.
3. Watch Animation vs Physics: This video is an incredible journey into the heart of our universe, and I love it. Have already seen it 7 times!
Let’s start this new year with a bang. SO MANY good things are coming for you, you amazing human being. Go for it.
See you next week.
And I, and likely many with me, will cheer for you, dear Punit!
Loved this stanza:
"Goodbye and thanks for all you did,
two thousand twenty three.
I can't believe the tales and stories
that you made me see!"
And I hope you'll see many more
lovely tales and stories in 24.
Lovely poem. The two best things that happened to me in 2023 are my cat and my blog, in that order. I grew immensely as a writer thanks to my work here on Substack, and I love my cat to death!
