Take a step!
Today’s poem is for those who need just a little more encouragement!
Alright, poem starts in 3…2…1!
A step to the left or a step to the right. A step in the day or a step in the night. A step in a walk or a step in a jaunt. A step that can go anywhere that you want. A step really close or a step really far. A step to the moon or a step to a star. Just one simple step, and new stories are born. Don't wait anymore. Take a step now, go on!
That’s it! Thanks for checking out edition no. 47 of Hello Universe. Share this poem with a friend who’s on the brink of a new journey! 😀
Some fun stuff:
This is a place where I share something cool to read, something cool to listen to, and something cool to watch! The colored words are links that you can click to visit the recommended content.
Read “The Private Market Whisperer” by Peggy Van de Plassche: Substack Go, a writing program, has put me in touch with some amazing, talented writers on this platform. Peggy joined our group by accident on the first day, and ended up adding a dash of practical wisdom amongst us literary dreamers in the group. She has been an integral part of the group since then! I am in total awe of her wit and intelligence.
Peggy also happens to have been in the tech startup ecosystem for quite some time. She’s been advising top investment funds, is an active startup investor and public speaker. She writes The Private Market Whisperer, which is a weekly insightful publication on investing and operating start-ups. A lot of my readers are in the business and finance world, and I would especially encourage them to read Peggy’s views on these topics. Subscribe now!
Listen to “Elemental” by Freaks and Geeks & Emily Makis: Continuing last week’s trend of tracks with ENERGY, here’s a track with lots of it. That synth is quite an earworm. Check it out!
Watch “Making Lego Car CLIMB Obstacles” by Brick Experiment Channel: You’ve probably seen this video already. 69 million people have actually seen it already. Even if you have, it’s worth rewatching to marvel at the engineering creativity on display.
I would love it if you also shared some fun stuff that you love to read/ listen to/ watch across the internet, down in the comments.
See you next week!
